Description: 1930s Art Deco Framed SILHOUETTE Print, Iridescent Gold Foil Decoration Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE FRAMED SILHOUETTE Striking and lovely vintage 1930s-1940s Art Deco silhouette framed under glass measuring about 9-3/4" tall by 7-3/4" wide. Featuring a beautiful image of a woman posed in patio setting, flooring is black and white check and she wears a wonderful bell skirted gown accented with iridescent gold foil. Untitled, I believe it was made by Reliance and the technique is called "Butterfly Wing" (not real wings). Condition is very nice with no lifting, separation, staining, fading or damage - back is complete with a simple string hanger - this is the original frame and some added glazier points to hold image in place more securely (still a bit of play within the frame). Just a wonderful image - so striking - wonderful addition to any silhouette collection or display! Please note - white spots are the result of my flash reflection.
