Description: 1930s Art Deco Framed SILHOUETTE Print, Iridescent Gold Foil Decoration, #2 Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE FRAMED SILHOUETTE Striking and lovely vintage 1930s-1940s Art Deco silhouette framed under glass measuring about 9-3/4" tall by 7-3/4" wide. Featuring a beautiful image of a woman reading a card next to her mail box, she is posed in garden setting, complete with Swallow bird accent. Wearing a wonderful bell skirted gown accented with layers of iridescent gold foil. Untitled, I believe it was made by Reliance and the technique is called "Butterfly Wing" (not real wings). Condition is very nice with no lifting, separation, staining, fading or damage - back is complete with a sawtooth bracket - a faint hint of spotting within one area by her skirt back within the cream area. Just a wonderful image - so striking - lovely addition to any silhouette collection or display! Please note - white spots are the result of my flash reflection.
