Description: I have for sale a pin back Usher badge from the 1924 Republican National convention that was held in Clevland, Ohio and where Calvin Coolidge was nominated for President and did win the election & became our 30th President. The badge has three parts. The top pin back looks to be bronze, it is 13/4 inch wide and looks to be close to uncirculated condition. On the bar it shows an eagle perched on a shield with USHER below. Two chains connect the bottom piece that also looks to be bronze, it is 1 3/8 inches in diameter and looks to be in a high grade circulated condition, close to original condition, see photos. In the center it shows the Capitol dome and reads CLEVELAND OHIO 1924. Around the rim it reads REPUBLICAN NATIONAL - CONVENTION. The ribbon probably was white when original, but it has faded and is stained. Overall it is 3 1/2 inches long. The badge was made by the Whitehead & Hoag company.
