Description: It is an authentic engraved antique map over 133 years old with original handcoloring and a centerfold as issued. It is from Migeon's Geographie Universelle Atlas-Migeon, Paris: J. Migeon, 1877. A copy of the Atlas title page with date is included for authenticity. Also included is a double page of woodblock text. Overall a very nice map with exceptional handcoloring that would frame up well, great for the budget minded! Size: The map image measures approximately 11 by 15 inches on a 14 by 19" page with a wide margin all around for matting, as seen in the main pic. Condition: It is in Very Good condition for its age with overall very light tonal ageing and strong color, basically as seen in the pics. There is some darkening around the edges as usual and a couple of very minor spots hardly worth mentioning, otherwise the map is very clean with no distracting defects. It is printed on heavy paper with original hand coloring, blank on the reverse and has a centerfold as issued. The pics are of the actual map.
