Description: 1837 Matron Head large cent for sale, plain cord, medium letters variety. The coin pictured is the coin you will receive. The date is faint, but decipherable, however, the shape of the head matches the "young head" variety minted between 1835-1839, leaving 1837 as the only possible date ending in 7. Also, even though the cords cannot be seen, all "head of 1838" beaded cord cents have small letters on the reverse, allowing us to be certain this is a plain cord type, just by seeing the medium letters. It has corroded/pitted surfaces on both sides. Please use the pictures to determine the grade and feel free to ask any questions that you have. Will ship next day once payment is received. Combined Shipping: I offer free combined shipping for every additional coin purchased. In order to receive the free combined shipping, you must wait for a revised invoice before paying. Thanks
