Description: Up for sale is this rare antique 1822 first edition copy of, "A Tour to Quebec, in the Autumn of 1819." The book is is overall in good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. It has been nicely rebound with new endpapers. The covers only have some light wear with some sunning to the spine, a tiny ding to the front cover and some light wear to the extremities of the spine. As called for, the book is illustrated with 2 plates. Each plate contains two illustrations. The binding of the book is good and strong. There is a page with a small marginal tear about and inch in length, and there may be an additional other page or two with a small tear. The page edges are rough cut with some nicks and minor chipping. The interior is lightly toned from age with some mild foxing. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, minor chip, light spot of soiling or grubbiness, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 9 1/4 inches by 5 7/8 inches and is 128 pages long. Please look at all the photos to further note the condition. Thanks!
