On 8/8/22 we got 2 more of these awesome knives, please just look at the finger grooves cut into the bone handle that in its self is worth $40. this in my opinion is one of Chipaways best knives and there are allot of them, if you could just get over Pakistan you would/ could own some fantastic knives for next to nothing. the last 2 of these we had sold in days , and both of these have a darker bone handle then what you see they are totally gorgeous. The Chipaway brand has been around for 40+ years they do have Pakistan on the box or blade, but the blades are all made in Germany at the Bertram Cutlery Plant and always have been, the handles are made in the U.S. so why is Pakistan on this knife. People that have brought a Chipaway knife normally buy 1 or more why they are very good knives and the price where can you buy a 12" Bowie / Fixed Blade knife for $40. made with material like these you can't and we believe many of you don't buy the Chipaway brand because of the price thinking if the knife was any good it should cost more. We have sold thousands of this brand and will continue to sell them. There are certain styles that are totally gorgeous - really, this company makes 1500 of each knife and that is it they are constantly coming out with new styles, There are many people that do love these knives and in Blades Magazine two years ago it had one display of 164 different Chipaway knives the buyer made the entire display and put all of his knives on it all Chipaway, after that came out about 50+ people saw it and started buying many of these knives and we talked with many of these people most said if they didn't see the display and read about the knives they would of never started buying this brand and out of the 50 buyers 15 to 20 are still buying and now have 75 to 100+ knives. Now if you think about this 1st no other knife company makes this many different styles using bone and or wood handles and 440 S.S. Blades. Any out doors activity you want to do here is a knife that can handle it. Moving down to the Handle at 4 1/2" long multi-colored brown with finger grooves cut into the handle and has a brass Guard with a finger stop built into it and a brass pommel then on either side of both is a Red spacer mainly there for looks, all of this goes into a high end leather sheath doubled stitched , snap, & belt loop for EDC.
