The mix consist of White Ladino Clover, Medium Red Clover, Crimson Clover and Chicory. Clover and Chicory are among the most preferred food sources for deer and it is an excellent source of protein and total nutrition. Broadcast in February or March at the rate of 8-10 lbs per acre for coated and inoculated seed. You can either disc your plot prior to broadcasting or just sow over the top and let the freezing and thawing effect work your seed into the ground. When soil temperatures warm up in the Spring, your seed will germinate and will grow rapidly. It will reach approximately 10 to 12 inches in height and will have white, red, and crimson flowers in the summer.
